If you have been following the social channels, you have already seen the face of the enemy. The cover for The Conservatory of Thorns is officially out in the wild, and I am thrilled with the response. It captures exactly the kind of beautiful, suffocating atmosphere I wanted for the Exclusion Zone.
But a pretty cover is only half the battle.
Current Status: The Iron Prince
I am currently deep in the trenches of drafting the exclusive bonus chapter, “The Iron Prince.”
Writing from Commander Varic’s perspective has been… illuminating. It is a strange experience to step out of Elara’s survival mode and into the mind of the man who controls the Hothouse. I’m currently finalizing the scene at the Masquerade, and let’s just say his internal monologue is far less composed than he looks on the outside.
